Cake Smash Photography in Cincinnati is a total joy. However of all of the sessions I have done over the years, baby Zoe is the happiest and most joyful baby I have ever photographed for a cake smash! We designed a warm and whimsical set with shades of blush and floral cake for her session.  She smiled and laughed the entire time! Take a peek below and you will see she loved the cake! Doing Cake Smash Photography for Hyde Park, Indian Hill, and all of Cincinnati’s metro area families is a job that I can’t believe I am so lucky to do.

This little guy’s Star Themed Cake Smash Session was a blast! It is also a reminder of how lucky I am to serve this area.

This little guy dug right into his yellow, white, and blue Tres Bella cake and was no stranger to making a mess.

First, we grabbed a couple of images before we brought his cake in. As you will see he totally hammed it up!

After we brought his cake in he tried to blow out his yellow fondant one-shaped candle. (Don’t worry though, it wasn’t lit!) Next, he tore in!

It was awesome to see the fun he was having. Once he finished his cake we moved our little frosting-covered boy to the bath tub where he had a ball playing with the bubbles and rubber duck.

Between his joy of devouring his cake and the dreamy gold and blue stars in the dangling in the background this Cake Smash Session was wonderful.

I recently has a casting call for a Cincinnati Cake Smash Photography Model Session and Georgia was our winner. This little mermaid didn’t love the cake or being messy but we made it happen. I mean who doesn’t love icing?! Baths are always a hit, so eventually we won her over with that! Thank you Susan for letting me borrow your daughter!

Happy First Birthday, Brighton!

I had such a wonderful time creating this custom set for Brighton’s Floral & Blush Cake Smash session. I was so excited to finally be able to put my vintage ladder to use for this set. As a cake smash photographer I have become quite the balloon garland expert so I kicked it up a notch for this session and added in the really big balloons this time! Brighton wasted no time dismantling her cake and digging right into her cake. She is a girl after my own heart! Brighton ate more cake than any other baby I have photographed. It was a sight to be seen haha!I think she was a little sad that all the smashing was over. She sure does make the most adorable pouty face, don’t you think? Thank you Cara for trusting me with your daughters first birthday memories. I loved working with you all and hope to see you all again soon <3

Happy 1st Birthday Emmie!

Creating sets is one of my favorite things to do as a cake smash photographer. This set is was no exception. I had such a great time creating this set for Emmie’s sweet one cake smash! I love how everything came together. Mom’s choice in outfit styling worked perfectly with the beautiful ribbon backdrop and amazing cake by Tres Belle!

The birthday girl was a little reserved diving into the cake but, eventually, she went straight for the icing! The best part, right?!

After indulging in all the icing we put her in a nice warm bath and the smiles continued!

Happy First Birthday, Meera!

Meera and her family came to visit Cincinnati and the surrounding area all the way from Dubai! As a Cake Smash Photographer it is very rare that we get to take first birthday pictures on a baby’s actual birthday, but we had the privilege of photographing this Cake Smash Session on Meera’s actual first birthday!

This alone was magical. Pair that with the beautiful smash cake that was custom made by the lovely ladies over at Tres Belle Cakes and we had a recipe for a dream Cake Smash Session!

We used a record setting 148 balloons on this set. (And congratulations to our lucky winner for guessing the exact number of balloons we used on our facebook video!) 

This little lady wasn’t interested in the cake unless Momma was sitting right next to her. Once she figured out what the cake was, she went all in, and had a great time.

So much cuteness. Check it out!

Happy Birthday Isla!

This was my first time meeting Gazen and Dick.

Isla’s first birthday theme was a peony, gold, and greenery theme so we ran with it and created an indoor spring set.

Isla was also a total champ during her cake smash photography session!

At first she went straight for the cake topper and delicately licked the icing off the stem. Then she realized she had an entire cake covered in frosting to go for!

You would never know this was her first time eating cake.

Mom and Dad were really eager to try out a cake from Tres Belle but she smashed the cake so much that there was nothing left to taste.

She might be my best smasher to date. Isla loved the bubbles in the smash session and kept trying to catch them.

We even had a chance to take a bit of video, so here’s a peak behind the scenes of Isla’s Cake Smash Session!

Happy First Birthday, Titus!

I am getting to the point in my career as a Cincinnati Cake Smash photographer that I am starting to photograph my littlest clients siblings. And boy do I love it!

I first met sweet Titus while he was still a baby in his Momma’s belly during his big sisters cake smash session a little over a year ago.  He was just a few weeks away from making his appearance into this world for the first time. My goodness has he grown into an adorable toddler!

Titus’ Mom had the idea to go with a fishing theme for his cake smash. This was a totally new theme for me as a Cincinnati Cake Smash photographer and I was excited to come up with something really awesome!

I did what any good creative does and headed out to look for some inspiration. First I hit up Pinterest and found a few cute ideas but nothing that screamed, UNIQUE. So, my next stop was to the fishing isle of my local Meijer and then to Michaels.

I am not a fisher. I haven’t fished since I was a little girl with my grandparents on our annual camping trips so it took me a minute to remember what all went into that. Once I got going, I think I came up with some really cute touches to the set.

My kids helped paint two giant fishing bobbers we made out of paper lanterns. We added a giant fishing net to the floor with some small fishing bobbers from our local hardware store. I then strung fairy lights to mimic fireflies that you might see near the docks and added a old wood fishing dock prop.

Titus’ Mom made the perfect cake to match our vision for the session. Look for yourself, below.

As a Cincinnati Cake Smash Photographer, one of my favorite parts of my job is watching these beautiful babies grow!

It seems like just yesterday that I shot beautiful Juliet’s Newborn Photography Session.

Today I had the great honor of capturing her Cake Smash Session. And my how she’s grown!

Juliet was a little apprehensive to smash her cake at first, as this is not something of the norm. She began by picking the giant flower right off the top of the cake and then proudly holding it up like a prize!  It was so cute!

It didn’t take long before she had enough of the cake smashing and took off crawling leaving the rest of us covered in icing 🙂 

The highlight of the day was definitely the splash part of the session. This sweet girl loved the bath and could totally rock a job as a bathtub baby model!  So. Darn. Cute!

As a Cincinnati, Ohio Cake Smash Photographer, one of my favorite parts of my job is creating gorgeous sets for my cake smash clients! Today I had the great honor of capturing Noelle’s First Birthday Cake Smash Session. 

This sweet girl was nice enough to bring along her family so went ahead and had everyone jump in for a quick family picture to mark the moment <3

Noelle wasn’t shy about the cake at all. She immediately went for the ice cream cone and popped it off the top of the cake. She wasted not time, getting in on the fun!

Noelle’s favorite part of the session by far, was the bubble bath! She couldn’t get enough of the bubble machine. Noelle was an expert bubble catcher!
