I was so excited to shoot Charlotte’s newborn portraits. When I met Sarah and Casey for their maternity session, they were just so wonderful and super excited to become parents so I knew going in these pictures were going to be amazing. I love when families book the Bumps to Babies package because it gives us time to get to know each other, develop a bit of a bond, and chit chat about what the nursery is going to look like, and just become friends. Then when the newborn session rolls around its like meeting an old friend for coffee

When Sarah mentioned that they were doing Charlotte’s nursery in a woodland theme I may have squealed a little because I have had this beautiful woodland themed set up for months that I was just dyyiinngg to use!

Really, I just love everything about this sweet little session and the love these parents have for this little girl just radiates off the screen. Sarah and Casey thank you so much for trusting me to capture such a beautiful milestone in your family. I can’t wait to start on your album

Tara and Erik’s maternity session was nothing short of perfection! We started the session out on Hyde Park Square because Tara had her heart set on both Urban maternity portraits in front of the Hyde Park fire station and a few park photos. So after we wrapped up the session at Hyde Park square we headed over to Ault Park for a few portraits. Of course as soon as we arrived, we noticed a wedding in progress which limited some of the locations Tara had in mind so, we improvised! Her beautiful white gown was perfect for the warm sunny evening we had and as the sun set, magic happend. I loved everything about this session. Now I can hardly wait for their little man to arrive in a few weeks

Donna and Casey are two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet.  Casey is currently finishing up his last 6 months in the Air force. With the possibility of being deployed, we were nervous that he wouldn’t be around for the maternity session.  I am so glad he was able to be here for pictures. The love these two have for each other is unmistakable and shines through in these photos.   I can hardly wait to meet their baby girl later this month! Congratulations , I am so looking forward to our next session together <3 Heather
