When this sweet girl’s mom came to me to talk about her 1-year cake smash, she had a great vision for the set; a Cincinnati skyline featuring Godzilla as the baby. So fun!!

I love when clients come to me with super unique ideas for their cake smash session. When Mom booked this session I was over the moon excited about the theme: Godzilla Takes Over Cincinnati. I immediately contacted my favorite bakery, Tres Belle Cakes to create the perfect cake! Then scoured Etsy for the perfect Godzilla outfit to fit the color scheme. Once those items were lined up, I worked with a local artist to sketch the perfect Cincinnati Skyline, comic book style! I love how everything came together!

This sweet girl did not disappoint and kept with the theme. She went straight to destroying the cake like a little Godzilla.

My favorite moment was when she went head first into the cake!

After every smash, we wrap up with a nice warm bubble bath. This tiny Godzilla could not be contained ha! She had the best time splashing and making a giant mess.

Cole’s newborn sessions was so sweet and big sister Anna just made my heart melt. I have been photographing this sweet family since their daughter Anna was just a few days old and if you remember, I just photographed her 2nd Birthday session a few weeks before her baby brother arrived. I am so fortunate this sweet little family has decided to allow me to capture another one of their children’s first year with the Watch Me Grow package. There’s nothing better than watching these sweet newborns grow into bouncing toddlers full of giggles and fun! Cheers to an amazing year of sessions ahead

Oh how I love a baby in a teddy bear bonnet. I have been dying to get my youngest son out for these pictures since he was old enough to sit. I worked with a wonderful prop vendor to create the perfect set to fit my vision of Samuel sitting with our giant Vermont Teddy bear in the woods. Finally the weather in Cincinnati decided to warm up long enough for me to brave taking all three kids onto my favorite trail at Ault park for a super quick photo shoot. I was so pleasantly surprised to find these sweet yellow flowers blooming to create the perfect image I had in my head. I hope you love these images as much as I do. I adore Ryan, actually I adore Ryan and his entire family. He and his parents drive to see in Cincinnati, Ohio all the way from Nashville every 3 months for pictures. They actually moved a few days after his newborn session. This family is full of serious rock stars. Ryan just keeps getting cuter each time I see him and I can hardly ever wait to see him for his Watch Me Grow Sessions <3 It’s hard to believe we are going to be planning this little guy’s first birthday session in May! Happy First Birthday, Knox!

This little leprechaun had so much fun at his first birthday, St. Patrick’s Day cake smash session. Even though his birthday isn’t for another week, we decided to celebrate early! Knox is actually my second client who shares a birthday with the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, crazy yeah?!  I was over joyed when his Mom contacted me about setting up a custom cake smash for him with a St. Patrick’s Day theme!  She and I exchanged ideas over Pinterest and finally settled on a design. I love being a Cincinnati Cake Smash Photographer! Creating these amazing sets and then seeing it all comes together makes my heart fill with joy<3 Three Sweet Girls Cakery in Cincinnati, Ohio, created the perfect cake for our session. Not only was it gorgeous, it was delicious too 🙂 There really is nothing better than watching a kid eat a cake that is almost as big as they are.

Our newest bundle of joy has arrived! Samuel Isaac was evicted born July 31st at 41 weeks. Doing our own newborn portraits was definitley a challenge, and NOT something I would recommend, but we love how they turned out (even if it did take 3 days of shooting :)) We still have yet to capture my daughter with Samuel. At almost 11 years old, she has a very active social life :)! Hopefully, we can get pictures of the three kids together before Samuel looses too much of his baby-ness!
