When this sweet girl’s mom came to me to talk about her 1-year cake smash, she had a great vision for the set; a Cincinnati skyline featuring Godzilla as the baby. So fun!!

I love when clients come to me with super unique ideas for their cake smash session. When Mom booked this session I was over the moon excited about the theme: Godzilla Takes Over Cincinnati. I immediately contacted my favorite bakery, Tres Belle Cakes to create the perfect cake! Then scoured Etsy for the perfect Godzilla outfit to fit the color scheme. Once those items were lined up, I worked with a local artist to sketch the perfect Cincinnati Skyline, comic book style! I love how everything came together!

This sweet girl did not disappoint and kept with the theme. She went straight to destroying the cake like a little Godzilla.

My favorite moment was when she went head first into the cake!

After every smash, we wrap up with a nice warm bubble bath. This tiny Godzilla could not be contained ha! She had the best time splashing and making a giant mess.

Every week I get to meet some of the best families in Cincinnati, and this family is no different. I met Stacey and her family through my husband. He was teaching a class that Stacey was taking, we got connected and quickly got a date for family pictures on the books. Of course, anyone who lives in Cincinnati knows how unpredictable the weather can be here and that the weather can change at a moments notice. As with all my sessions, I was stalking the weather app no my phone watching to see what was going to happen. The forecast was calling for scattered showers and the clouds were dark. Thankfully right when our session started the sun poked through and gave us the most gorgeous sun drenched pictures! The entire family was gorgeous and couldn’t take a bad picture even if they tried. Thanks guys for trusting me with your family pictures. I hope you love them for years to come

It sounds so cliche but, I really can’t believe my baby just turned one! Samuel’s Cake Smash is something I have been thinking about since I was pregnant with him. Since I plan so many cake smash sessions for other Cincinnati Mom’s coming up with something original was a struggle. My husband and I went back and forth on so many different ideas and decided that one of the advantages of owning your own studio is that I could do as many different sessions as I wanted for his birthday and not have to settle on just one theme. So, when I found this amazing Max costume from Pottery Barn Kids, I was completely sold on a Where the Wild Things Are cake smash session. Since I had recently done a Where the Wild Things Are cake smash session for another family, I already owned the backdrop, wood slice cake stand, and paper for the floor. So, the only thing left was the poofs that my 4 year old and I made together using a Pinterest tutorial and ordering the cake from a custom baker here in Cincinnati. I’m in love with the results and even more impressed my son tolerated wearing the costume throughout the entire session! I hope you love this as much as I do. Happy First Birthday, Knox!

This little leprechaun had so much fun at his first birthday, St. Patrick’s Day cake smash session. Even though his birthday isn’t for another week, we decided to celebrate early! Knox is actually my second client who shares a birthday with the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, crazy yeah?!  I was over joyed when his Mom contacted me about setting up a custom cake smash for him with a St. Patrick’s Day theme!  She and I exchanged ideas over Pinterest and finally settled on a design. I love being a Cincinnati Cake Smash Photographer! Creating these amazing sets and then seeing it all comes together makes my heart fill with joy<3 Three Sweet Girls Cakery in Cincinnati, Ohio, created the perfect cake for our session. Not only was it gorgeous, it was delicious too 🙂 There really is nothing better than watching a kid eat a cake that is almost as big as they are.

A Milestone Package will include a Newborn Photography Session in our Newborn Studio, a Mini Session for 4 months of age, 8 months of age, and a Custom Cake Smash Session in our Cincinnati, Ohio studio. Aiden had so much fun during his first birthday cake smash session! He dove right in and didn’t hesitate to try out that cake. And since he was a bit of a dirty bird after cake time, we had a bath to get him all cleaned up before he went home – complete with rubber ducky!

The last time I got to hang out with this family, Charlie (now two) was celebrating her first birthday 🙂 Since then they have added sweet baby Knox to the family! Between bay Knox’s adorable rolls and Charlie’s sweet smiles, I knew this session would be amazing (and adorable!). We were able to get so many great shots it was hard to narrow it down to just a few to share on the blog.

It’s that time of year again!  It’s time to book your 2015 holiday pictures with Santa!

What you get:  Sessions include 30 minutes with a real beard Santa, as well as pictures without Santa on a Christmas bed with milk and cookies, a decorated sled that can fit up to 3 children with a white winter scene, complete with artificial snow and snow balls, and a denim couch for family pictures.

Galleries will include 10-15 images for downloading, and metal Christmas ornament with your favorite image with Santa printed on it. Additional products will be available the day of the session as well at a discounted rate.

We will provide drinks, snacks, and crafts for the families. We encourage everyone to come early so the kids can warm up to Santa and to write their Christmas lists (that will be provided, printed on parchment paper) to share with Santa (it makes for a great photo op).

When: 11/14/2015 (Sat.)

The Details: Santa Sessions will be held at the Living Room, 2369 Norwood Ave from 9am-5pm.  An invoice for 50% of the session fee will be sent to the email provided and is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due 1 week prior to the event. In the event you need to cancel, you, the client, will be charged the full session fee for any cancellation made less than two weeks from the event date (11/14), unless I am able to fill the spot with someone from the waiting list or via posting on social media.
